When the students were talking with the instructor (2) they asked the students if they wanted to be successful in life or go to college and the students said they wanted to go to college. This is a pretty big eye opener to me that the students don’t really know what they want yet they just know what their parents want, friends parents want, or what society wants. I don’t quite understand why change is being made without preemptive studies, they might know that one way doesn’t work (the traditional system), but I think if you are to change something you might want to set it up in a way that you have a built in study going on so you can take some tangible data away from the school. If the program is inquiry based and focuses on multidisciplinary approach to problem solving, lets see the equivalent to the, 3 months later students failed the same test they had on their last day of class the year prior. That would give you some real data.
